Excellent accommodation in Hamilton Island.
The best accommodation we have ever had! The staff were very friendly, the apartment was spotless and the view was amazing! It even came with a buggy included! The day at Hardy reef was amazing and the water was crystal clear! The gift shop was great as well!

Terrible apartment
I'll keep it short and sweet. We stayed at Oasis 2 as part of our honeymoon trip, and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. After three weeks of staying in hotels, we were really excited to have a more homely experience, but this apartment fell far short of our expectations.
The apartment was in poor condition. It was dirty, the shower had a cesspool and an awful smell, and the sofas clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. We couldn’t wait to leave and were relieved we only stayed a few days.
That said, the service was good. We were provided with a buggy, and the customer support team did their best to address our queries. It’s not their fault that the apartment hasn’t been maintained properly.
Overall, I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Great stay for a family!
We stayed in Oasis#21. A ground floor one. Spacious for a family of 5. We have 3 kids (10, 10 & 14) they all comfortably had their own bed as did we. Clean. Provision of linen & beach towel sufficient. The views are spectacular. Well furnished throughout. Buggy that comes with the apartment was good. Use of beach activities daily (paddle boards, canoes & catamarans) with the apartment was great!
The only negative points were....the dryer doesn't work. We wanted to wash a small amount of clothes (jumpers, shorts & tshirts). The list of inclusions with the property says 'dryer' is available. There is a dryer but it doesn't do its job. The clothes came out wetter than they went in =/. This was not helpful at all. I know you don't go on holidays to wash but we picked a property that had the facility just in case we needed to wash/dry conveniently. There were x2 outdoor lines on the balcony, which were fantastic, however, a lack of sun reaching them, the humidity & being by the water, nothing dried at all. It dried quicker inside hanging over furniture inside than it did in the dryer or outside. This wasn't ideal. It took 3 days to fully dry 4 jumpers =/
So if you would like to conveniently wash & dry, the washing machine is ok but the dryer on the list of inclusions isn't functioning just in case this is something you would like to use whilst away, more-so if you have kids and need to wash.
It also isn't a quiet place for those looking for one. You can hear your upstairs neighbours & surrounds and some are up til late, which is fair since you're on holidays. But if you need the quiet for younger children/babies at night, it isn't always that peaceful quiet you might need. Apart from that our stay was really good!

Avoid if possible
We booked the accommodation through Qantas hotel. The pictures of the accommodation advertised by Qantas were misleading. We did not have a view of the sea as on the advertisement but trees and the round about. The dinning table was so unsteady that we had to put our plate on our lap to eat. The washing machine was so loud that when it was on we had to leave the accommodation! The veranda light was not working. Qantas emailed management but they refused to acknowledged or even apologized for the quality of the accommodation despite us providing videos . Was it good value for money, 2800 AUD for 4 days. Not really.

Lovely roomy apartment for families
We stayed in Oasis 10 which is managed by Hamilton Island Holiday Homes and located
on the lower level of the first apartment block of Flametree Grove. A 4 seater buggy was included which was fabulous as the bus no longer stops at the bus stop on Flametree Grove right outside the apartments (the Hamilton Island app suggests it does - however it does not). This was slightly annoying as we had 6 people and had planned to utilise the free shuttle so we made do with multiple buggy trips when needed. It is only a short walk down hill to the Marina and probably about 15-20min walk across to Catseye Beach and the Resort Centre/pools. The apartment was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, great space with open plan kitchen/lounge/dining opening up to the enclosed balcony. The windows fold out to let in the beautiful sea breezes but the cockatoos will invade if you don’t keep an eye out, especially if you have food. We were mindful of this so it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen is big with lots of counter space with stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and full fridge/ freezer- everything you need to self cater. The stovetop was very tricky to light which was a constant annoyance so we made good use of the Weber BBQ on the balcony.
2 bathrooms plus a third seperate toilet was great as there were 6 of us in 3 bedrooms. The blinds in all are pretty good at keeping out the early morning light (QLD has no day light saving so it is light VERY early). The bathrooms are clean and well kept with good shower pressure and spacious showers (no bath). The apartment has multiple air cons in each room and main area and ceiling fans also. Covered park for buggy and power to keep buggy on charge when not is use and access via about 10-12 stairs down to the apartment door. There are 4 apartments per block. The complex pool is right outside the apartment door, literally a couple of metres away and is a quiet little oasis away from the busy resort pools. The pool is not heated.
Bath and beach towels are supplied for all guests and the apartment has a washer / dryer and airer so easy to wash bathers and swimming towels daily. There are some supplies such as toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, salt/pepper, glad wrap, alfoil etc and limited tea/coffee on arrival.
The apartment could do with some maintenance on the following -
The seperate toilet was constantly running and 3 of the 8 outdoor chairs were broken (we reported this to maintenance, hopefully this is now fixed). On arrival our gas bottle for the BBQ was empty, it took 3 phone calls to resolve, we also reported that the dining room table was very wobbly, we were concerned it would collapse and this was fixed when the BBQ gas bottle was replaced. The stovetop issue mentioned above needs attention.
There were no spare blankets which was annoying as my daughter needed a thicker bed covering as her brother wanted the air con on and she did not which would have easily been solved if we had a few spare blankets. The bed coverings are sheets with a very thin quilt or mattress protector between 2 sheets acting a quilt (which is a bit weird but mostly functional). For the price of the accomodation these were issues we did not expect.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the apartment suited our family (2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 teens/tweens) perfectly. Lovely location with a green tropical environment. Hamilton Island is pretty small so everything is accessible and walkable but the buggy certainly helps as it’s quite hilly in parts.
The well stocked IGA and bottle shop are located just the other side of the Marina so only a few minutes away by buggy. The Marina Tavern, bakery and cafes / restaurants are all in walking distance.
The apartments are all different as many are privately owned and some managed by Hamilton Island Hamilton Homes so reviews will vary from apartment to apartment - there are 24 Oasis apartments in total.
Overall we were very happy with the apartment and amenities and glad the golf buggy was included as it’s lots of fun to get around via golf buggy! Check out was 10am but we were able to keep our buggy until our flights at 1pm.
