It was a fun trip with 5 elementary school students!

It was disappointing.
The building is old, and the staff at the entrance is a young girl, and it was a simple response without a smile
The hallway smelled like toilet air freshener.
The food is Viking, but the sushi stuff is less, and it's meat steak, but it was roast beef.

The bus to Sendai Station was disappointing.
However, when I was waiting for the bus to Sendai Station in front of the hotel entrance, it was difficult to find the waiting area, and an elderly couple cut in line and ended up going quite far forward in the queue, but then they ended up getting on the first bus to Sendai Station, which was an unpleasant experience at the end, so I think it would be better for staff to clearly indicate where to wait when waiting for the bus and to guide people so that they don't cut in line.

Great value for money
In the end, I'm glad I stayed there.
Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, but the live kitchen had a wide selection of dishes such as sushi, pasta, roast pork, and steak.
I felt that what made my stay so comfortable was the hospitality of the staff, especially the smiling British doorman.
Although the room and bathroom were old, they had been renovated and were properly cleaned.
There was an air purifier in the room, and the toilet and bathroom were separate, so they were easy to use.
It was a cold time of year, but the building was warm.
There is a brewery and Rairaikyo Gorge within walking distance, so you can enjoy a stroll if the weather is nice.

Excellent service, food, room and onsen
The huge buffet restaurant served fresh Alaskan crabs, plus wide variety of Japanese dishes. A proposed improvement here is that they shouldn't play the looping elevator music in the buffet hall, as it was quite irritating after a while.
