I would never recommend this place to stay, or Booking.com

Disliked · After this motel photo copied my drivers licence, I questioned why they needed it. I paid for the room, and was told it was for damage control of the room. They had several copied IDs thumb tacked to a cork board of other paying customers, and showed me a fist full of copied customer ID's from under the counter. When I stated I did not want them to have a copy of my ID in their posession, and after retrieving the manager, I was asked to leave. I was told by the manager/owner that my money would not be refunded, referring me to deal with Booking.com. Booking.com stated that this motel did not have it in their policy that photocopying ID was required, only customer producing ID. Booking.com contacted "Mike" for the 3rd time to solve this issue, and because the motel's website did not state photocopying ID was a requirement, was told I would receive a refund. Booking.com assured me they would refund my money if the motel did not come through. He didn't, and neither did they. One month later, Booking.com has not backed me, and the motel will not refund my money, stating I would not allow them to photocopy my ID.
If you stay here, know that your ID may be up on the wall for all to see, and not secured in a safe location. Beware of potential identity theft at it's easiest.
I will not be using Booking.com again, and would never recommend this motel to anyone. I am forced to give them a star to complete this review. My choice would be negative or no star.

I asked for a refund after being there for 2 hours and was told that I should have been wearing my glasses. I recorded the conversation between myself and the horrible human that thinks he’s running a hotel.

Totally adequate accommodation at a decent price
Management had a map of the area which was helpful. A kick-off breakfast gets you off to a good start the next morning. Rugs needed to be shampooed.
