Cheap stay in Munich
The hotel is located in Schwabing-Freimann, a northern part of the city, directly on the A9, a main entrance road coming from the north towards Nuremberg. The building is 4-storey and has 191 rooms. The hotel was created around 2010 or later. Everything is in perfect condition. The audience was mixed during our short stay, with the timing of our stay (weekend) probably contributing to this structure.
We were in town primarily because of a Bundesliga match of Bayern Munich. For our purpose, the location was ideal, as you could take the subway directly to the Allianz Arena. My double room cost incl. Breakfast around. 130,00 €/day; you can not complain for Munich. Wi-Fi was included. For the underground parking had to be paid separately 13.00 €/day.
My double room (with air conditioning, which I thought was a bit noisy) was about 20 square meters and had a separate desk, satellite TV and room safe with combination of numbers. The furniture was in very good condition. The floor was carpeted. There are no bedside tables/cupboards. A hanging bar with hangers and open storage compartments are available for clothing. Therefore, it would be rather unsuitable for me for a longer stay.
The functionally furnished, about 3.5 sqm bathroom was also i.O. Hair dryer and cosmetic mirror are available. The shower is at ground level and has no edge, however low. So shower water can also splash outwards. What is also missing are storage options for toiletry bags or cosmetic cases as well as hooks for used, damp towels.
The hotel itself does not have its own gastronomy. The hotel's breakfast room is on the ground floor. The breakfast itself was very good and contained everything you could expect from a hotel of this category (coffee, tea, juices, sausage, cheese, jam, eggs, sausages, various breads and rolls, etc.). Attention was paid to the timely follow-up and the timely clearing of the tables. Anyway, we were very satisfied.
Even the first telephone contact with the reservation was very positive. Also the later welcome at the hotel itself was i.O. All other questions were answered exhaustively, so nothing stood in the way of a nice stay. All in all, we were satisfied. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. As a guest you feel comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily.
Still something about the location & surroundings
A metro stop is a 10-minute walk away. By U 6 you can reach the city center without changing trains in about 10 minutes (fare single trip 4.10 €). The main train station can be reached by public transport in about 30 minutes, the airport in about 50 minutes. There are hardly any shops/restaurants here.
Conclusion:
If even small quantities are available - I would book the hotel again for a short stay as the price/performance ratio is right and the location corresponds.

Don’t stay here if you want a good sleep!
We’ve had a great stay here which unfortunately was let down during our last day at this hotel. We had a late night flight back so we had arranged a late checkout in order for us to sleep in and prepare for the long travel day ahead of us. Unfortunately we were woken up in the morning to extremely loud drilling noises (I have videos highlighting this) coming from a room close to ours. When I went to reception to complain, although the first staff member was apologetic, the male manager was not sympathetic and the only compensation he would offer us was to switch rooms. This made no sense to me when we would have to pack up all of our belongings only to move rooms for a few hours. I was also already awake so it wouldn’t have been possible for me to fall back asleep. We were not notified that this building work would take place and it has completely disrupted our travel plans for the day. I am seeking compensation and will continue with this as this is unacceptable. This also happened the morning after many people attended the Sam Fender concert the night before (which finished late) so I’m assuming this is going to disrupt multiple people who, like us, decided to stay at this hotel.

Always nice professional staff at the reception, smooth check in and check out experience. So close to train station to quickly get into city centre. Very clean and cosy room at a great price! Loved the fun quirkiness of having the disco ball in the bedroom.

Solid option for its location and price. The hotel is clean and staff are nice. The disco balls in the room are fun but as the main source of light for the room they get old quick given you can’t turn them off and the one in our room was super noisy.

Nice hotel. Price was over expensive due to a trade show being in town. Not to much in walking distance. 20minute ride to down town. I’ve also never stayed at a place with a disco ball in the room. Bed was comfortable. Staff was nice and they have a fridge with beers in the lobby.
