The modern and family-owned hotel Westermann is situated close to the city centre and to the motorway A30. The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. International restaurants are located in the surrounding area.

A worthwhile accommodation, small but mighty
You can't hear anything in the room if the window is closed (in winter) - but we come from a big city.
The hotel has a large, free car park.
The rooms are very large and reasonably furnished. A renovation would be nice, however.
The bed is a large double bed and very comfortable.
Our bathroom was small, our friends' was large and also had a window. But it was fine.
The towels here, however, urgently need replacing as they were grey from washing and quite frayed.
What was annoying was the thin walls in the room (the shower from the floor above was very loud).
The door closes poorly (due to an automatic closer - that's a bit annoying) -
The breakfast room is very large, beautiful, bright and modern.
The breakfast is excellent! A large selection of rolls (of good quality), bread, margarine, butter, jam, honey, sausage, cheese, eggs, scrambled eggs, juice, quark and yoghurt, fruit salad, etc.
Coffee specialties are also available at no extra charge.
You can walk into town in 20 minutes - alternatively you can take the bus.
The good, varied breakfast, the free parking and the good beds make up for the small shortcomings.
We would be happy to come back.

Decent hotel near town centre
Rooms clean, spacious, and everything works.
Some road noise even with the windows closed. The rooms facing the car park rather than the roads are probably quieter.
Plenty of car parking.
Close to centre of town.
Good breakfast.

Good value option on the southern edge of the Innenstadt
If driving the hotel is easy to find off the A30 autobahn and the centre of town is a 10/15 minute walk.
All in all a good value choice.
