Charming yet inconvenient
One aspect that stood out was the unexpected charge for breakfast. Typically, one would expect breakfast to be included in the stay at a bed and breakfast, but here, it comes with an additional fee. While the food itself was satisfactory, the extra cost felt somewhat unwarranted.
Another significant drawback is the extremely limited and strict check-in times. Arriving outside the narrow window is not an option, making it a challenge for those with unpredictable travel schedules. This rigidity extends to the breakfast hours as well, which start later in the morning than most early risers would prefer. If you're an early bird eager to start your day, this might not be the best fit.
In summary, this Bed and Breakfast offers a charming and nostalgic experience, but the additional charges and rigid schedule may be off-putting for some. It's an excellent choice for those who appreciate a quaint, old-world charm and can work within the strict time constraints. For others, these factors might detract from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Charming and very comfortable
My room was spotless and well appointed. An excellent nights sleep and the chickens in the run next door didn’t wake me up early either.
The hostess had a arranged a good selection of breakfast options including eggs cooked to order.
This is definitely on my list for a repeat visit as there was also a very good bat and a restaurant across the street.
