We had a very nice 1 nite stay at this property. The bed was very comfortable, the exercise facility was nice, laundry, although we didn’t use it, was convenient, the front desk staff had our reservation paperwork on the desk, with what I assume was other incoming guests. The kitchen was handy. We would definitely stay here again. No complaints!

Mediocre Hotel and Poor Service

This hotel is aggressively average. The service is okay, the girl at the front desk was obviously waiting for me to leave so her boyfriend could come back up to the counter to talk to her. The rooms are just fine. It's comical that they only service the room every 7 days. They won't make your bed, they won't give you new towels, you have to do the work. They also don't provide breakfast, but they would be happy to sell you things out of their store. The rooms are fairly dated, the toilet doesn't even have a seat on it. The shower is actually surprisingly spacious. The AC is controlled, so the second you leave it turns off and your room gets warm. When I tried to check out, no one was at the desk and I waited for 20 minutes, even after hitting the bell and dialing '0' like they recommended. The maintenance guy walked buy and literally shrugged, then said, "I'd check you out but I'm not allowed to touch those damn computers," and for some reason got rude with me even though I wasn't the one not doing my job. Turns out the desk girl was out back on her phone. When she finally came in to help me, she didn't apologize at all. When I asked for a business card for her manager, she said no and told me they were out.

I had booked a room with King bed and was given a queen room and told I booked through a 3rd party and they weren't required to honor the request. The hotel was clean but prpoerty is very well beat up. 3 of the lights didnt work.I would not stay here or any other Candlewood property again.

Cannot believe this is associated w/ IHG label- SKIP IT

I cannot believe someone has ever given this place a rating higher than a 1.
1. They don’t have bottled water available for purchase. In a town you can’t drink the tap water.
2. Fine. Where’s the ice machine and we’ll boil down the ice. Oh, they don’t have that either. Their suggestion was to turn on the ice machine in your freezer, so you’d maybe have some ice by the time you check out tomorrow (why would this not be left on in every room if you don’t have an ice machine?).
3. Our neighbors are on meth, so that gives you a sense of the clientele.
4. The sheets are scratchy like gravelly cardboard.
5. The phone in the room doesn’t worked. It wasn’t even plugged in, and after doing so, it still doesn’t work.
6. No breakfast. But you can purchase cereal from their store. But there’s no milk, either. So you can raw dog some cereal for breakfast.
7. They don’t answer the front desk phone despite having 2 workers (so I guess it doesn’t matter your room phone doesn’t work). We called 3x before they picked up, at 8:45pm.
