Great hotel and friendly staff!

Recently stayed here on a Monday night as we were passing through. The hotel is very new and great. Nothing fancy but has everything you need for a fabulous price. The rooms were clean, the shower was great and included a shelf to put your foot to shave your legs which I appreciated! The beds were comfortable as well. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but I didn’t need one. There was a fridge. I believe there is a microwave in the lobby but not for sure.
I used the workout room which was small (2 treadmills, a bike, free weights) but included some nice accessories like a barre and exercise mats. You could definitely get a good workout in and the equipment was very new so in good shape.
The staff were all incredibly friendly. The free breakfast was typical and on par with a Hampton Inn. It helped the hotel was barely full so it was nice and quiet. I’m sure the weekends are much busier. I would definitely stay here again and at another Tru. It’s a great value and has everything I needed without the higher price.

We are a tax exempt company, and neither hotels.com or the property (Tru by Hilton) would honor the certification. between hotels.com and the property, they kept saying the other was responsible for the tax exemption, and neither were helpful. We had one person transfer positions internally, and no longer needed to attend the conference, and even with PLENTY of notice we were not allowed to cancel the reservation, so we still had to pay for that stay as well. Overall the process was super frustrating with the lack of customer service. I would NOT recommend booking through Hotels.com or staying at Tru by Hilton if you are a tax exempt government entity.

Bed bugs

Walls are paper thin, can hear everything next door and above! Worst part is the Hotel had bedbugs! Left in the middle of the night! Hotel even refuses to refund the nights we didn’t stay! Manager refused to call us back, would only text us! Terrible hotel

Staff was EXTREMELY welcoming, accommodating, kind, and respectful for my needs with my service dog, my daughter, and myself. We came in for business for my service dog and thought went in to giving me a perfect accessable room for my needs and the fact I use a walker as well. I was treated with respect the entire visit and never felt differently for my disability. I highly recommend Tru for anyone looking for an accessibility friendly place. The pool and area was very clean, as well as the entire common area, and the room. The full hot breakfast was great. The snacks available as well for purchase were very handy. The beds were very clean, comfortable, and very nice fluffy pillows. The bathroom was spotless which is a must! It was very appreciated that I was asked daily if I wanted any service for my room too! Our plans had the option to stay longer and because of the excellent accomodations it was very easy to extend our stay for additional days. I would not hesitate to come back and look forward to coming back in the future. The Tru felt very safe and a safe location, I always felt safe walking my service dog and having my daughter go to pool, desk etc without any worry. Staff was always present and willing to help in anyway. I highly recommend Tru!
